PCTFE: crystallinity of 85% to 90%, relative density of 2.07 to 2.18, refractive index of 1.429 to 1.439. Melting point 215 °C, decomposition temperature>315 °C , glass transition temperature 58 °C , thermal deformation temperature 75 °C (l.82MPa), and loss of strength temperature 270 °C. Good low-temperature performance, long-term use temperature -200~300 °C.
It has particularly good visible light, ultraviolet, infrared and gas barrier properties, and its chemical stability is second only to polytetrafluoroethylene.
Not resistant to chlorosulfonic acid, caustic soda, newly formed element fluorine, and high concentration fuming sulfuric acid at high temperatures (140 °C ).
Can dissolve in solvents such as benzene, toluene, xylene, carbon tetrachloride, cyclohexanone, cyclohexane, etc. at high temperatures.
Good adhesion to metal and good dimensional stability.
Extremely low water absorption, good mechanical and electrical insulation properties, and good creep resistance.
